A WIDER BRUSH FOR ROUTINE PANEL CARE

The Sanlarix cleaning kit uses a 550 mm rectangular brush to cover a broad strip of panel glass with each pass. Red outer bristles and a black central section form a continuous cleaning surface for manually loosening everyday dirt while water is supplied at the head. The wide format is practical for accessible solar arrays, where controlled, overlapping passes help you work systematically across each module. Flexible synthetic bristles follow the working surface, while the adjustable adapter helps position the brush against the panel. Keep the bristles and glass free of trapped grit, and follow the panel manufacturer’s cleaning guidance.

WATER DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO THE BRUSH

Four water outlets distribute water at the brush head through the supplied tubing and fittings. This brings brushing and rinsing together at the working surface, so you can wet the area while guiding the bristles across the glass. The included valve lets you control the incoming water supply. Connect the kit to a suitable source using compatible fittings, check the joints before use and keep the hose clear of your working area. Water flow depends on the connected supply; this is a manual water-fed brush system, with no motor or pressure pump included.

BUILD THE POLE LENGTH YOU NEED

The 12 ft configuration includes four connectable aluminum sections, providing a supplier-stated assembled length of approximately 3.6 m. Use the number of sections appropriate for the distance instead of carrying the full length for every task. Spring-button connections secure the sections together, while the ribbed aluminum surface provides texture along the pole. The modular construction also allows the pole to be separated for storage and transport. Pole length describes the tool itself, rather than a guaranteed working height: usable reach depends on your position, the panel angle and the surrounding space.

POSITION THE HEAD AND PREPARE TO CLEAN

The adjustable angle adapter lets you set the brush position for the surface in front of you. This helps bring the bristles into contact with tilted solar modules while you hold the pole in a comfortable two-handed grip. The kit includes the brush, sectional pole, water tubing, connection fittings and a control valve for assembling the cleaning system. Check that the pole connections are engaged, the head is secured and the water joints are seated before starting. Work from a stable position and keep the supply hose to the side, leaving room to move along the installation.

FAQ

IS THE POLE TELESCOPIC?

No. This kit uses separate aluminum sections connected with spring-button joints. Add or remove sections to choose a suitable working length. The 12 ft configuration includes four sections.

HOW WIDE IS THE BRUSH?

The Brush-550 head is approximately 550 mm wide. It has red outer bristles, a black central bristle section and four water outlets.

DOES THE KIT INCLUDE A PUMP OR MOTOR?

No. Cleaning is performed manually, and water comes from an external supply. Water flow depends on the connected source and the position of the control valve.

CAN I ADJUST THE BRUSH ANGLE?

Yes. The supplied angle adapter allows manual adjustment of the brush position. Secure the adapter before use and choose an angle that keeps the bristles in contact with the working surface.

IS THE 12 FT LENGTH THE MAXIMUM CLEANING HEIGHT?

No. It describes the nominal assembled pole length of approximately 3.6 m. Actual usable reach depends on your position, the angle of the pole and access to the surface.

Reviews

The wider head makes it easier to work across our small array without so many narrow passes. Having water at the bristles is convenient, especially when loosening dust before brushing it away

Bennett Oliver

I usually assemble just the sections I need for the nearest panels. Once everything is dry, the separate poles take up much less space in the shed than leaving the whole tool assembled

Fischer Lukas

Setting the head angle takes a little experimenting, but it helps the bristles sit evenly against our tilted panels. I find the brush easiest to guide with a comfortable two-handed grip and the hose laid out beside me
